Tropic Chill Deli Reviews

I work within walking distance of Tropic Chill Deli and I tried it for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I got the thanksgiving leftover sandwich, which was easily a 8/10. Big portions (even the half sandwich orders), all fresh ingredients, always ready on time, and the staff is nice- especially the younger woman who works at the counter (I don't know her name!!). But the best part??? THEIR PRICES! So so so reasonable and such a great value considering the freshness of the food and the sizes. I've also tried their chili cheese dog which was a SOLID 10! And today I went to get their half BLT and another chili cheese dog, as i was starving. But the BLT half order is more than enough to satisfy my appetite. The BLT is my favorite thing I've gotten so far but since it's so convenient and delicious, I'll be going AT LEAST once a week from now on.

Awesome spot the breakfast special for 4.99 is so good you can't beat the deal they make all sorts of sandwiches and other stuff food is good place is busy at lunch but worth the wait

Probably closer to 3 stars, but there was nothing offensive about this experience, but nothing great either. It's an average place ... nothing more, nothing less ... but 3 stars and the little 'yellow' color seems a bit harsh. I usually come here 3-4 times per year on business because it's next to the hotel I usually stay at and open fairly early for breakfast. No frills here ... at all ... but the prices are low and the owners/workers are friendly and hard working. There are a few tables outside and a few inside ... not a big place at all and little industrial feeling inside. This is a sandwich shop. Portions aren't huge but the ingredients and recipes taste decent. Nothing I'd write home about but I feel like the prices are low and you'll certainly get your money's worth here. In the breakfast sandwich, they take a sausage link or two and cut them into little pieces, which all proceed to fall out of the sandwich when you lift it up. I think this place would certainly be wise to invest in a sausage patty vs. cutting up a few sausage links into small circular discs. The eggs and cheese are fine and I like that they spread the bread with butter and grill it ... although a croissant is verrrrry buttery to begin with. A nice decadent buttery taste contrasted by the salty eggs and cheese. If you are looking for a quick bite/sandwich made to order, this would be a better spot than a Subway or fast food joint. You'd be crazy to order any kind of breakfast item from the Starbucks next door, unless you were in a rush and needed a pre-prepared microwaved item. Here, it's all freshly prepared and made to order, which takes a few more minutes and is worth it. This is the kind of sandwich shop/breakfast place that your dad took you after baseball games as a kid. No frills, could be 1992 inside and a friendly staff. There's a reason this place has been around 20+ years in a Naples that is constantly changing and modernizing. Locals know best.

This little deli has been around Naples for many years and it is a good spot to get a generous-sized sandwich to take out for lunch. On this particular visit, I ordered the tuna melt on rye. It took a bit longer for them to prepare the sandwich than it probably should have taken, given the fact that only a few tables were occupied and few others were waiting for takeout. I didn't order any sides because the sandwiches are large. The tuna melt was good, though the rye bread was a bit soggy by the time I got to enjoy the sandwich 15 minutes after picking it up. The choices are plentiful and the sandwiches are reliable. There are a few tables inside and parking in back.

Delicious! Kids loved the chicken noodle soup, husband loved the Rueben and I loved the egg salad sandwich. The little lime sherbet at the end topped it all off. So good, we'll be back for sure. Service was a bit slow, but we arrived right at the lunch rush.

THE BEST REUBEN I HAVE EVER HAD. There I said it, and I don't regret it. This was a complete whim of a stop on the road from Naples to Fort Myers in the hunt for a lunch that would satiate our tummies for a long day of doing nothing - boy did this place deliver. There's just about any sandwich your heart could ever desire, and they don't mess around at Tropic Chill. Everything from the bread to the condiments and the mountains of meat (droool) are fresh and delicious. I had a really tough time choosing what to order, mostly because everything sounded great. I settled on the classic Reuben - corned beef, sour kraut, Swiss, thousand island dressing, and rye bread. The sandwich came to the table and it measured about 4 inches tall. It was hot, melty, and savory. I'll be dreaming about this sandwich for a long time. My travel buddies got a ham and cheese hoagie and a deli combo sandwich (rye bread with slaw, ham, turkey, and all other sorts of toppings). All of us left with full tummies. You're free to customize your sandwich anyway you like, and they offer pick-up if you order ahead. There's a decent sized sitting area if you're just too hungry to take it home. This is no luxury restaurant, and if you're searching for fancy dining you've come to the wrong place. If you want a big fat delicious sandwich (GET THE REUBEN!!!) - this is the place!!

Want to grab a sandwich for a day at the beach? Grabbing something to eat on your lunch break? Tropic Chill is the place. I came in for a Rueben and they did not disappoint. My sandwich was piled high with corned beef and topped off with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island. There was no need for fries or chips the sandwich was huge. They also do delivery. As I was eating I watched them prepare and leave with dozens of meals at lunchtime. If your down on the beach they will even deliver to you! Now that is service.

This place has been here for 20 something years. The new manager, has been here for 7. They are known for their sandwiches but we came today for their 4.99 breakfast. The menu caught our eye on this sunny Friday and we had to do two U-Turns because they ate right off a busy road and the parking threw me through a loop. Once we sat down, and settled in, the age in the place showed. There were nicks in the tables. The bathroom was a bit dirty and the grill reeked of repeated use. BUT that smell was inviting and ultimately, when the food came, the age showed. Being seasoned in cooking always shows. Simple meals are Devine because of the love that is put into it. This place is a must to go back to. Its homey. Its loving, and the best part is, the rest of the day we will talk about this place. Come here please

Super nice staff, and super good food! We came in close to when they close and they were very nice about it, and even gave us all free samples of peach sorbet! 5/5 would recommend
